With globalisation as a theme accepted by the transfer of education from one place to another has become a reality. India holds a special position in that term. New Horizon College of Education is being established by New Horizon Educational and Scientific Access Trust promoted by a group of well known educationists, professionals and philanthropists with an aim to provide quality education and research in the field of elementary and higher studies. The TRUST has already carved a niche for itself in the university and the society. In order to carry forward the vision of the sponsors of the institute. It has become essential to look for possibilities for collaborations at a much bigger scale. In this direction, a definite possibility has arisen for a collaboration with the National Council for Teacher Education & T.M. Bhagalpur University.
Considering above features, Trustees of New Horizon Education & Scientific Access Trust (NEAT) decided to establish New Horizon College of Education under the guidance of Dr. Samina Rahbari, the Chairperson and Managing Trustee of the Trust.
Dr. Samina Rahbari, Chairperson of the Trust, is throughout first class & National Scholarship holder. She has done Ph.D. in Educational & Child Psychology. She also worked as programme in charge of Bhagalpur & Banka district from 1998 to 2002. She launched & ran the Alternative Schooling & Early Child Education Programme in Bihar Education Project, Patna & was nominated by the Governor of Bihar for literacy programme at state level. She represented Bihar in National Level seminar on Universalization of Primary Education & Women Empowerment at Rajasthan Institute of Public Administration (RIPA), Rajasthan. She has experience of lectureship for more than 20 years & has been appointed as examiner of Psychology for last 10 years continuously. She has fully devoted & dedicated her life for the development of education in society without any discrimination of caste, creed & community. She strictly follows the objectives of Trust i.e., ‘Service to Mankind’. She is by birth a vocal artist which plays an important role in cultural activities. She was awarded as an ‘Educationist’ by the MP Bhagalpur, Syed Shahnawaz Hussain in ‘Naari Shatabdi Samarch’, 2012. Dr. Samina Rahbari was also awarded for ‘Best Principal’ on 5th September, 2013 on the occasion of Teacher’s Day celebration by LIONS CLUB, Bhagalpur. New Horizon College of Education is being promoted & run by the people who have a good experience in the field of education.
Thus, New Horizon College of Education is a sincere endeavour of New Horizon Educational and Scientific Access Trust to fine tune the scattered talent across the state of Bihar and adjoining states where the need for the proposed program would serve a noble purpose to the scattered talents of youth.
